Asking for info on the elections

As most of you know, I'll be in March 27
I whould like to vote
SO....
Couple of things I need to know:
1.Is a

required or will a valid passport do
?
Till what time are the poles open2.
?
3.
Can I vote at any voting station?
4.
can I please have some info on the parties,

Liberals/socialists need not apply

אם יש שגרירות\קונסוליה באזור שלך, אתה יכול להצביע שם.
לגבי הבחירות:
ת.ז חובה, אתה צריך לבדוק איפה אתה רשום (אתה לא יכול להצביע בכל מקום, רק אם אתה שוטר או חייל), בד"כ זה לפי מקום מגורים. הקלפיות פתוחות בד"כ מ 08:00 עד 20:00 כאשר הקלפיות הגדולות יותר פתוחות אפילו עד 22:00.
לגבי המפלגות, כולם %^&!!! אתה מעניין אותם מהיום ועד ה 28 במרץ, למחרת הם שכחו אותך!!!

אישית, אני לא מצביע כבר שתי מערכות אחרונות, וגם בקרובה אני לא מתכוון לשנות את תוכניתי.
נכון, זה עוזר למנצחים, אבל זו המחאה הקטנה שלי!

As the managers of this site have said before, we don’t have an "off topic" forum yet.
But still…..
an ID , as Avigdor mentioned is a must.
It has a little voucher attached to it' called a ספח, that is tagged as you vote, so that you should not re vote in another pole.
You can not vote in anny pole, you must check where you are registered in the "voters book" or "citizen registration book".
info on the parties you can find on the web, they all have sites.
"not looking to start a political war" – you probably have started one.

One last thing, I really don’t like people who do not live here, but still try to influence my life.
"dosim" from brooklin and "yordim" like you , who do not live here, do not work here, do not pay taxes here and do not do "miluim" here.
You have a comfortable life in the U.S, so why meddle in our business?
If you don’t live here, pleas, don’t try and change my life.

לא ממש הנושא, אבל מדינת ישראל זו המדינה היחידה בעולם, שלא מוותרת לאזרחיה באשר הם, על האזרחות שלהם. בנוסף, זו המדינה היחידה בעולם, שנותנת אזרחות ברגע הראשון שדורכת רגלו של יהודי באשר הוא (בלי להיכנס לאלו שמתחמנים...).
בעבר, חשבתי כמוך, וכמעט קניתי כרטיס לכיוון אחד. היום, אני שמח שאני כאן, וגם שכל מה שרשמתי, מתקיים. פועל יוצא של הפסקה העליונה שלי, מביא את האזרחים של מדינת ישראל (כמו יוסי) להצביע.

אני מעדיף את זה כך, מאשר אחרת!

What are you saying?, lets take the Iraeli citizens that work in the embasy
they dont live in IL. they get paid in the US and pay federal and state taxes
According to you they have no right to vote?
They should'nt get involved in "your" country?

Some of us still care about the country,
and like to see it prosper, otherwise, why whould I care to vote?
Its defenatly not to make you life misarable.

How much $ gets donated by Americans to IL every year, Barak
They all give their hard earned $ as they believe in the couse
How do you know how much I donate?
and alot of my tax $ goes to the IL governmant as well

So please try to put things in prospective

Beside, how do you know what my political views are?

במקרה אני עונה להגדרה שנתת אמנם אפריקה לא ארץ האפשרויות... רק מי שעובד בשגרירות יכול להצביע בחו"ל (ולא כולם), ומשלמים מיסים לישראל.
