תבדוק שהנוזל מבוסס על Organic Acid Technology - OAT.
מכל מה שבדקתי בנושא, זה מה שלנד-רובר ממליצים למנועים שלהם. למעשה אין להם שום קריטריון אחר לנוזל הקירור (צבע, טמפרטורה וכו') למעט ה-OAT.
גם ב-LLC של פז יש שני סוגים, אחד OAT ואחד לא. המינוח הזה נמצא בשימוש של כל היצרנים ואני ממליץ לך לא להשתמש בנוזל שאתה לא בטוח שהוא OAT, גם אם הוא של קטרפילר או פרארי. אם הוא כן - תקנה בלב שקט.

אני מסתכל בספר הרכב המקורי של הדיפנדר (Land Rover Defender Workshop Manual 1999-2002 MY), לגבי Engine coolant, כתוב שם מילה במילה ולא יותר מכך:

Use Texaco XLC long life coolant. Use one part anti-freeze to one part water for protection down to -36 C (-33F).
IMPORTANT: Coolant solution must not fall below 50% anti-freeze otherwise damage to engine is liable to occur. Maximum concentration is 60%.

את -1- ראיתי ברשת ACE ב- 83 ש"ח למיכל.-2- תואם לרדיאטורים מאלומיניום. -3- מיועד לעבודה קשה במנועי דיזל ורכבי עבודה/שטח. -4- "גולת הכותרת" (אבל אין לגביו איזכור של Heavy Duty, או של "מתאים לרדיאטורים מאלומיניום").
