אני יודע, אני יודע - יש דיונים קודמים בנושא, אבל רובם ישנים ולא מצאתי תשובה ממוקדת מספיק בשבילי (אולי גם אין כזו..)
לפני 15 שנים היה לי דסקברי דומה לזה שיש לי היום - 97' 3 דלתות. ההוא היה עם EDC והנוכחי בלי, שזה דיי דומה לעייר צעיר מול חמור מזדקן - שניהם חמורים רק אחד מהם עם יותר מרץ.
מה שכן - הדיסקברי של אז היה עם קפיצים ובולמים מקוריים ויכולת הגיהוץ שלו בשטח היתה מופלאה. הנוכחי הוא ככל הנראה עם הקפיצים המקוריים, אבל מישהו בהיסטוריה שלו, שם לו בולמים של britpart או bearmach - לא זוכר כרגע כי אני לא ליד הרכב, שפשוט לא קרובים ביכולת הגיהוץ שלהם למה שאני זוכר (יש מצב שהם HD או ברמת קשיחות גבוהה ולא לא תקינים).

אני עם בולמים של טרהפירמה ספורט (או משהו כזה, העבים יותר :) ), קפיצים של קינג.
סהכ מרוצה.
טוב, אחרי התלבטויות וחפירות ובשקלול של כל מיני המלצות, הזמנתי קיט שנקרא prosport של טרהפירמה, עם הגבהה של שני אינצ'.
מבין 3 דרגות העומס הזמנתי את ה light load TF207. עלות כולל משלוחה והכל כ 4000 ש"ח (עוד לא הבנתי איך עניין המכס עובד כאן - יום עסל יום בצל).
בכל מקרה אחרי שהקיט הגיע החלפתי את הקיימים בחדשים בחנייה לבדי. הג'ק שהיה לי התקלקל והייתי צריך לעבוד עם הג'ק של הרכב הפרטי - פשוט סיוט. הבולמים שירדו מהרכב היו כבר ממש בסוף חייהם, מה שהסביר את חווית הנסיעה המפוקפקת לאחרונה.
אחרי ההחלפה ומחווית הנסיעה בשתי נסיעות מבחן עד כה - הקיט עובד בדיוק - כמו מה שחיפשתי, לא רך מדי ולא קשה מדי.. הבולמים עושים עבודה מצויינת, כניסה למהמורות במהירות גבוהה לא מאיימת לפרק את הרכב ועבודת הריסון של הבולמים ממש ממש בולטת וטובה. יש גם הגדלה של מהלך הגלגל, ולא היה צריך לערוך שינויים נוספים בצינורות בלם או משהו אחר.
הרכב עלה ב 4 ס"מ בערך בכל גלגל (צד נהג גבוה במעט בגלל הקפיצים המעט יותר ארוכים) - זה לא שני אינצ' (אולי בגלל שיש ציוד ברכב) אבל העלייה בגובה מורגשת.
אשתדל להכניס כאן כמה דיווחים על הקיט בחודשים הקרובים כדי שיהיה למעקב. בינתיים נראה ומרגיש טוב.

פתאום אני קולט שעברו כבר 9 חודשים מאז שהחלפתי את המתלים ..
עבר הרבה על כוחותינו מאז, ובגלל המצב והמילואים הארוכים הדיסקו בעיקר עומד.
יכול לומר שאחרי כמה נסיעות עם הסט של טרהפירמה בשטח, בסה"כ אני דיי מרוצה. כמו חרבון טוב - לא קשה מדי ולא רך מדי :)
מה שכן, נראה שהחלק הטוב במתלים הוא הבולמים, ויש מצב שהאחוריים יגלו בהמשך סימני שקיעה.
