ג'ו, דווקא במה שקשור לCJ8 ישראל היא מעצמה.

אם אני לא טועה, סך הכל נמכרו 26,000 סקרמבלרים בארה"ב בסך הכל...

בישראל, זה הג'יפ הנפוץ ביותר, פחות או יותר 90% מהCJ שיש בישראל הם CJ8. יש כאן אלפים.

לי יש CJ8S, מגיע מקורי מהמפעל קצר:

לא. בארה"ב הם עם זנב ארוך. CJ8S למיטב ידיעתי יוצר במפעלי ג'יפ בעולם, מן הסתם לא רק בישראל.

I never seen that body style before, kinda like a factory bobed cj8
The US speced cj8's have an extra 10 inches in the wheelbase over the cj7 plus 14 inches in the back, this is the closest to it that I got

גם פה רוב הCJ8 הם ארוכים, עם אותם 14 אינץ' בזנב - אבל יש גם לא מעט מקוצרים מהמפעל, ויש גם הרבה שקוצרו אחר כך.

הקאנט המיוחד, כולל החורים לקשתות ההתפכות - כל זה נראה לי באמת כמו פיתוח מקומי לפי דרישות הצבא.

קשתות התהפכות = roll bars.

Center and rear roll bars which are inserted into tubes, the tubes are welded to the body. the hoops are removable. this is the standard military style that Jeep CJ and Storm (LYJ) in Israel are made.

the two hoops and the braces are original. the front extension was made by Hanan.

קנט זה הצד הצר של משטח מסוים,למשל שולחן שעליו פלטת עץ כל החלק מסביב נקרא קנט.אם אתה מסתכל על הדופן של האוטו החלק העליון היכן שהברזנט מתחבר נקרא קנט,במקרה הזה קנט עליון או לחילופין הצד השני נקרא קנט תחתון.אין שום קשר לפרוש המילה באנגלית :wink:

I honestly didnt think about it till you said it

No, No, No,
No technical expression from Yiddish.
The first engineers who came to Israel at the beginning of the 20th century’ came from Germany. The German Jewish do not speak Yiddish. For them it was dishonor to speak Yiddish.
Therefore
…..Knowing German will help you understand technical words in Hebrew.
I know it sound strange.
