Hi there everyone... just telling what I'm doing these days.
Packed the family, got to NZ, bought a Toyota Hiace 2.4ZL (petrol) LWB, with a large bed and stowage under it, and abench for the kid booster, that converts to a small bed at night.
we bought it with more than 600k km and done 2000 km so far... enjoing almost every day of the trip...
and soon there will be some pics..

מזכיר לי משהו... רק שבמקרה שלנו זו היתה טויוטה סליקה עם מעל 200,000 ק"מ - שמן ודלק והכל בסדר.

Asaf will you do the hard work and write a few words? and as for pics - nice pictures of Yotam, thats for grandma - here we want interesting pictures...oh I forgot, no off-road in NZ
wrong.... there is a lot of offroading here, but all of it is either private land, or a national park.
we were going down one of the few 4wd roads (a full day trip), and it was great.
the next day, again on a 4WD track, after fording two creeks, we decided to go back, since the 3rd one looked to deep, and muddy... for a2WD. as we turned... we got a flat. some Km after adeserted [lace called paradise... actually, 'middle of nowhere' will suit the place. and then started the rain.
that's it for offroading...

on the contrary
i got hold of a missing local friend through the local off road club :grin:
besides on the 90 mile beach north of aucland u can drive freely with your van just let a lot of air out of all tyres ;-)

..And that's it. no more cow-a-van...
finished our NZ jurney, and sold the van to a dealer, after some very long days in the car market.
...I almost can't wait to come back and head to the desert in a real car... to many rain forests down here... ;-) ;-) ;-)
