try and reset you need to turn the knob to the off positon and then press and hold the start button and the button to the left of it.
Then with them held in turn the knob 1 click clockwise.
Keep the button held in till the leds start o flash then let go.
Now turn the dial 1 click at a time clockwise till you get to the off position.
Then turn the washer on then back off again.
Then retry the washer and see how it goes. If still the same and the socket is fine then the control board is the problem and will need to be replaced.
